Detailed Description

Base class for the model that luciad::AtmosphereEffect uses to render the atmosphere.

This is a closed hierarchy: the concrete models are luciad::GradientAtmosphereModel, a simple sky/horizon color gradient, and luciad::ScatteringAtmosphereModel, a physically-based Rayleigh/Mie scattering sky. Applications cannot define their own model. Read the active model with AtmosphereEffect::getModel and narrow it to its concrete type to inspect its parameters.
