Package com.luciad.maps.effects
Class AmbientOcclusionModel
java.lang.Object
com.luciad.maps.effects.AmbientOcclusionModel
- All Implemented Interfaces:
AutoCloseable
Immutable set of parameters that describe the
AmbientOcclusionEffect, which shades areas of 3D geometry based on their proximity to other 3D geometry.
This ambient-occlusion model uses 3 parameters:
- the radius parameter is the distance in meters at which the effect is sampled.
- the power parameter determines how strongly the effect is applied.
- the performance hint parameter chooses whether to prioritize visual quality or rendering speed.
Create one with AmbientOcclusionModel#newBuilder, or start from an existing model with asBuilder, and apply it with AmbientOcclusionEffect#setModel.
- Since:
- 2026.1
