The TLcyGenericMapAddOn offers selection synchronization between multiple maps.
A model can be visualized in multiple maps in distinct layers. The selection synchronization functionality allows you to keep the selection in-sync across the layers, even over multiple maps.
By default, there is an active settable that allows you to toggle this behavior on or off. You can find it in the menu bar at Map → Synchronize selection. You can configure this active settable through the configuration file of the add-on.
