Deprecated.
The NetCDF decoder should be used to decode GRIB data. TLcdEarthSparseIcon can display sparse icons for GRIB data decoded by the NetCDF decoder.
This ILcdGRIBIcon delegates its painting to another ILcdGRIBIcon, in a density that is based on the strength of a vector. When the strength is high in a region, many icons are drawn. When the strength is low, only a few icons are drawn.

When the type is U_V, the first value in the array is the U-component and the second value is the V-component of the vector. When the type is DIRECTION_STRENGTH, the first value in the array is the direction (expressed in degrees) and the second value is the strength of the vector.

The strength is assumed to range between the given minStrength and maxStrength. Modifying these values allows to play with the density of the icons.
