A ILcdCrossCountryDistanceFunction calculates distances between two given points. In general this distance can be of all kinds: it can be an exact distance, or an estimate, an Euclidean distance or a time cost, ... The exact requirements for a distance function, if any, shall be specified at the place where the distance function is used.

Returns the distance between 2 points. These points should both be inside the bounds of this distance function.

the distance from aStartPoint to aEndPoint.

Returns the bounds in which this function can compute distances.
