Overall problem indicators

You may run into problems with:

  • Any GPU or driver that supports only OpenGL versions lower than or equal to 2.x. Although the LuciadLightspeed minimum requirements are OpenGL 2.0, many GPUs that support 2.x only have severe issues and limitations.

  • Any GPU or driver that supports a DirectX version lower than or equal to 10.x.

  • Any GPU older than 2012 or with driver support discontinued by the manufacturer.

The purpose of this list is purely to set realistic expectations. LuciadLightspeed does not actively restrict the use of the GPUs in this list, which means that you can still test any configuration you like.
