This class has been deprecated. The GML decoder, encoder and associated classes in this package are replaced by new decoders and encoders in the packages com.luciad.format.gml2.xml, com.luciad.format.gml31.xml and com.luciad.format.gml32.xml.

This interface is used by the GML model encoder to provide the feature IDs of the domain objects being encoded.

Deprecated.

Retrieves the feature ID of the specified object. Note: the returned ID must be valid for the XML "Name" data type (see http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-xml).

Parameters:

aObject - A domain object taken from an ILcdModel

Returns:

The feature name to be used when encoding the domain object to a GML file.
