Choosing a world reference
Bing Maps imagery is defined in a grid reference based on a pseudo-mercator projection and WGS 84 geodetic datum.
The use of a TLcdGridReference with a standard TLcdGeodeticDatum and TLcdPseudoMercator projection in your 2D maps will prevent any overhead due to the "warping" of imagery to another projection.
